What We Believe

The Scriptures

The Bible is the divine revelation of God, imparted to humanity through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is infallible and given for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness so that God’s people may mature and accomplish His will on the earth.

Scripture: II Timothy 3:15–17; I Peter 1:23–25

There is only one true and living God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal.

Scripture: John 1:1–5, 10–14; Matthew 28:18–20

God created man in His image, perfect and without sin, and for fellowship with Him. Humanity rebelled against God and took on the nature of sin. Restoration to fellowship with the Father is through Jesus Christ.

Sin separates humanity from God, and redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Those who desire to be saved must believe that Jesus died for their sin and rose again, receive the cleansing of His blood, invite Jesus into their heart, and confess Him as Lord and Savior. Salvation is an act of grace and a free gift of God, not something earned by works.

Jesus took sickness, disease, and infirmity into His own body on the cross. A believer can access the grace of God through faith for healing, receive divine health, and believe for the healing of others.

Once a person is born again, he or she should seek to live according to God’s Word, walk in righteousness, seek God earnestly, live in the new nature, and put away the old sin nature.

Water baptism is a physical action symbolizing the believer putting off the old sin nature, identifying with Jesus’ death, putting on the new nature, and identifying with His resurrection to newness of life.

Communion is an act of remembrance of Jesus’ body being broken and His blood being shed for the sins of the world.

There is a second work of grace after a person is born again, in which the Holy Spirit fills the believer. This infilling brings the power of God to the believer.

Scripture: Acts 2:38, 10:44–46, 19:2; Galatians 5:16–26

Speaking in tongues is a gift of God that should be earnestly sought as evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This supernatural prayer language leads the believer into a greater walk of fellowship with God and victory.

The Church is the Body of Christ, made up of people redeemed by Christ. Every member plays a vital role in the fulfillment of God’s will on the earth.

Jesus is coming back to earth to gather those who have been born again to live with Him forever.

Scripture: I Corinthians 15:51–52; I Thessalonians 4:16–17

Anyone who has not received Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God and will receive eternal punishment with the devil and his followers.
